Stephanie Hunter Johnson Stephanie Lynn Hunter Johnson, age 21, passed away Saturday, October 17 2009 due to an automobile accident. Stephanie was born on July 22, 1988 in Brigham City, UT to James David Hunter and Debra Ann Gardner. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 2006 where she participated in girls soccer and cheerleading. She married her Jr. High crush, John V. Johnson on August 5, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. They moved to Logan to while Stephanie attended Bridgerland Applied Technology and John attended USU. She had just recently completed her Board Certifications for dental assisting. She was interning with Sutton Dental in Brigham City and with Aspen Dental in Logan. From an early age, Stephanie was outgoing, happy and gregarious. She had a fun , adventuresome personality and liked to laugh and play games. Stephanie had a big and tender heart. She was very compassionate and did not like to see anyone or anything hurt. She enjoyed people and cherished her relationships with many friends and her and Johns families. Stephanie also enjoyed snowboarding, wakeboarding, fishing, camping and travel. She was thrilled to travel to Hawaii, 2 years ago, where she learned to surf. Stephanie was to become a mother in February. She was excited to add a granddaughter to her families and wanted to name her Aspen Lynn. She was amazing with kids and loved them so much. She dearly loved spending time with her little nephews and nieces. Stephanie and John were presently teaching primary in their Logan Ward. Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Myron Gardner, Blaine Hunter and Winnifred Hunter. She is survived by her husband John V. Johnson, parents James and Debra Hunter, siblings Jennifer (Derek) Kennedy, Plain City, Chris, Provo, Shawn, Provo and Kendra Hunter. Father and mother in-law, Chad and Michele Johnson. Brother and sister in-laws: Joel and Marci, Jacob and Katie, Joseph and Stephanie, Jarom and Nicci, James and Shawn, and Joanna Johnson. An account is set up in John V. Johnsons account at Members First Credit Union. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Brigham City 20th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Dr., Brigham City. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
