Stephen H. Reed, 89, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Born in Fort Wayne, Stephen was a general foreman with Zollner Pistons for 42 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife of 65 years Julian "Judy" Reed of Fort Wayne, sons, David (Nancy) Reed of Fort Wayne and Kenneth (Carol) Reed of Racine, WI, daughter, Mildred (Michael) Richardson of Logansport, 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents Stephen P. and Clementine Reed, brothers, Maurice, Donald, Joseph, and Eugene Reed, sisters, Geniveve Reed, Kathryn Binder and Phyllis Ehinger. Mass of Christian Burial is 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Anne Home Chapel, 1900 Randallia Drive, with calling 1 hour prior to Mass. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
