Later, as he became a hemodialysis patient, I had the privledge to care for his as an NP. He was the "perfect patient" loved to bask in the glory of having "excellent labs" month after month! He loved his wife and talked with pride about his family, I am blessed to have known Steve. Steve must be smiling at us even now.
