GALLEA, STEPHEN R.

Age 59 of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on January 3, 2012. He is survived by Linda, his loving wife of 33 years. He was born in Denver, CO to Roy D. and Anne Gallea. Stephen graduated from the University of New Mexico. He taught Special Education at Sandia High School and coached football for 30 years. Stephen was an avid gardener and an excellent cook. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Gallea and son, Benjamin Gallea. Stephen is survived by his brother, Alan Gallea of Albuquerque, NM, son, Roy Gallea of Littleton, CO, and daughter, Elizabeth Gallea of Austin, TX. Memorial Services will take place Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary located at 10500 Lomas Blvd. N.E. In lieu of flowers, Stephen requested that memorial contributions be made to the Albuquerque Public Schools Athletic Department.
