Stephen "Steve" Stanley Creadon, Jr., 67, of Cape Coral, entered into eternal peace Saturday afternoon, October 19, 2013 surrounded by his loving family and friends.  Steve was born on August 11, 1946 to Edith (Hentschel) and Stephen Creadon, Sr., in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was the beloved husband of Terri (Brown) Creadon for over 23 years.  

Steve served honorably as a Gunnery Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps for 14 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a hero and highly decorated for his bravery and valor.  He was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his fearless actions during a battle in which he ignored his own injuries and repeatedly risked his life in service to his country and his fellow marines.

Steve was an incredibly hard working man, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a dear friend to many.  He loved to fish and to watch Nascar.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Creadon, Sr.

Steve is survived by his wife, Terri; his mother, Edith; his three children, Steve (Natalie) Creadon, Kerry (Hayden) Gardner, and Sandy (Josh) Sizemore; his six grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Mackenzie, Bonny, McKenna, and Blithe; his two sisters, Gail Gilotti and Cheryl (Shael) Buchen; his four brothers, Gerry (Okye) Creadon, Tim (Mary) Creadon, Bob (Cindy) Creadon, and Vince (Linda) Creadon; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; in-laws and long-time friends.     

A funeral with military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 29th at 2:30 p.m. at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.  Memorial donations may be made in Steve's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
