VOCCOLA, STEPHEN T., Esq., 57, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family after a four year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer Tuesday December 10, 2013. He was the husband of Rebecca (Lomberto) Voccola, Vice President Consumer Market Manager, Bank of America. Born in Providence a son of Barbara (Caputo) Voccola and the late Edward E. Voccola. Mr. Voccola was a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, a personal injury attorney and very well respected in the Traffic Tribunal Court in Cranston. He was an avid racquetball player, he loved to work out with a trainer and was a former member of the Alpine Country Club. He lived for his family as he was a very devoted and loving father and husband. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter Danielle Lacourse, his six year old son Stephen E. Voccola, who he loved more than life itself , two sisters; Patricia A. Forte, Barbara A. Voccola, two brothers; Edward R. Voccola and Paul A. Voccola. He was the son in-law of Carl Lomberto and Maureen (Gallagher) Lomberto. His funeral is Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Entombment will follow at Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
