I just found out about this last night. Steve use to call me about every 2 weeks and when I did not hear from him for a while I tried to call him last night to find out his cell phone was disconnected. So I did a google search and found that he passed away. He was a dear friend for years and was the best man in our wedding. We will miss him dearly.May God bless him and all

I met Steve 22 years ago when he lived here in Tucson and worked for Bingo Cash and Carry. Steve was a great guy with a big heart. Steve and I worked together in California and North Carolina. We always stayed in touch over the years but even more so this past year because of my heart surgery. We talked almost everyday while I was fishing. He was such A character. Always had a good story for me about family and different friends. I think I have heard about everything ya'll have ever done. I loved Steve like a brother and I know he loved me & my family because he never failed to tell me everytime we talked. The only thing bigger than his heart was his sense of humor. Steve and I met in 1976 as roomates at texas tech univ. he and i lived togeather on and off for years and stayed in touch fairly often. I will miss his enthusiasm and support of my music. It was such a shock to hear of his death-I am very disappointed that I did not get word on when his funeral was. i planned on attending along with a few more friends from our collage days--peace be with you Steve, I will miss you and think of you often. I hope his sister Elise is Ok, my deepest condolences

Steve was a dear friend of mine. I worked with him at Lake Lanier. I will truly miss him and miss his phone calls. He would call me often just to talk. I will miss that so much. Steve was my son-in-law for a number of years. He continued to call occassionly to see how I was doing. It is sad that he had such a short life. May he rest in peace.
