Steven Vester Crismon

December 8, 1940-November 29, 2011, Steve was born in Barnsdall, Oklahoma and graduated from Fairfax High School in Fairfax, Oklahoma. He earned a degree from Oklahoma State University. He began his career in Houston with Univac as a programmer assigned to NASA, moved to Dallas in 1966, and worked for many years in telecommunications. Steve was self-employed for over 30 years and retired in 2008. Steve was an avid golfer who enjoyed all 19 holes.
He has many fond 'golf buddies' from Royal Oaks Country Club and The Golf Club of Dallas. He loved family, friends, and the dogs. Steve leaves his wife and partner of 29 years, Marta Crismon; son Craig Crismon and his wife Leslie Crismon; stepson, Matthew Jara; stepdaughter, Rachel Ward; brothers Mike Crismon of Kerrville, TX; Lynn Crismon of Austin, TX; eight grandchildren, three nieces, and three nephews.
