Sullivan A. Biondillo, 71, of Weirton passed away July 9, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Oakdale, PA. He was born November 10, 1939 in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late Sullivan A. and Mary Bakich Biondillo. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Timmy and Lee Biondillo. He retired from the Weirton Steel Company where he worked at the BOP. He had 35 years of service with the company. He was a member of the American Legion, the Pleasant Valley Country Club where he enjoyed many rounds of golf, and Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church. Sonny served his country in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife whom he married in 1975, Mira Memich Biondillo of Weirton; his son Anthony Biondillo of Baltimore Maryland; and his half brother Pat Biondillo of Bell Fontain, OH. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV, Pomen services will be Monday at 5PM in the funeral home. Funeral services will be Tuesday 1PM in the funeral home with Reverend Father Rade Merick officiating. Interment will be at the Serbian Cemetery, Weirton.
