Surjit Kaur, a resident of Odenton, MD, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the University of Maryland Medical Center, at the age of 62. Surjit was born on July 18, 1949 in Gurdaspur, Punjab and is the daughter of Tarlok Singh and Balwant Kaur.

Surjit is survived by her loving husband, Surjit Singh of Odenton, MD; devoted son, Gurinder Singh; beloved daughters, Gurbir Kaur and Kuljit Kaur; seven dear grandchildren, Amrit Kaur, Rajbir Singh, Harkiart Singh, Abhay Singh, Amay Singh, Saranjit Singh, Sunny Sing and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
