Services for Susan Gail Landers, 60, of Lubbock will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Sanders Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donna Johnston officiating.

Susan passed November 26, 2010 at her home in Lubbock.

Susan was born September 18, 1950 in Crosbyton, Texas to Elmer and Maudie Adams. Susan was a registered nurse, specializing in mental illness, in the Canyon/Amarillo area for many years. Not only did she care for her patients with compassion and understanding, she was a loving mother to her children and a multitude of others. Her kind heart and honest nature touched many lives.

Susan was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Cole and parents, Elmer and Maudie Adams. Survivors include her husband W.O. “Buddy” Landers; brother Howard Adams and wife Hilda; daughters Laura Judkins and husband Grant, Rachel Cole, and Leann Wills and husband Richard; sons Skyler Landers and Colby Landers and wife Amy; grandchildren Caitlin and Noland Judkins and Macy and Garrett Wills; and numerous beloved friends.

Susan has always loved angels. Now she has her own wings and it is her to fly.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Amnesty International (www.amnesty.org) or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (1031 Andrews Hwy, Midland, TX 79701-3805).
