Susan Ann Vermillion, 72 , of South Charleston , passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010.

She was preceded in death by birth parents, Carl Baker, Sr. and Beatrice Roy Baker; adoptive parents, Dale and Gladys Johnson; brothers, Carl Baker, Jr. and James Browning; daughters, Paula Kathryn Vermillion and Vickie Jean Vermillion .

She is survived by daughter, Patti (Benton) Gardner of Scott Depot; grandson, Justin Paul Gardner of Huntington; three granddogs, Howie, Bennie and Mannie .

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Putnam County Humane Society, 2806 Putnam Ave, Hurricane, WV 25526.

In keeping with Susan’s wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services.
