Neeley, Sylvester J. - of Clio, age 82, died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center - Briarwood in Flint. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Jesse England officiating. Burial to follow in West Vienna Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-9PM and Tuesday from 10-2 and 4-9PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Heartland Health Care Center.

Sylvester was born on April 14, 1928 in Flint, Michigan to the Late Sylvester and Maude (Fitch) Neeley. He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was employed with General Motors as a Machine Operator for 38 years, retiring in 1987. Sylvester enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and camping.

He is survived by: children: Michael (Connie) Hall of Clio, Cathy Leonard of Flint, Karen Neeley of Flint, Connie (Stephen) Scully of Clio, Terry (Peggy) Neeley of Howell; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by: wives: Edith (Hall) Neeley in 1958, Shirley (Sanford) Neeley in 1987, Eunice (Gage) Neeley in 2005.
