Teresa Clare (Stummer Furniss) Miller, 58, passed away Thursday morning, October 21, 2010, at her Fort Wayne residence. She was born December 1, 1951, in Syracuse, IN, to Herbert J. Stummer and Marilyn P. (Holloway) Stummer. On July 16, 1982, she married Ronald "Ron" A. Miller; he survives. Teresa graduated from North Side High School in 1970, and worked for North American Van Lines/Sirva from 1977-2008, as a small agent coordinator/shipment coordinator and marketing assistant. Teresa enjoyed cross stitching, gardening, jewelry making, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Surviving are her two brothers, Neil E. Stummer and Gregory J. (Holly) Stummer, both of Reno; two sons, Matthew L. (Jody) Furniss and Chad P. (Laura) Furniss, both of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren: Hannah, Madelynn, Michael, and Morgan; several nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert J. & Marilyn P. (Holloway) Stummer. Service is 10 am Wednesday at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Visitation is 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Allen County Mental Health Association .
