I had the privilege to meet and serve Morton and Teresa Goodfriend at the Freighthouse restaurant, Lacrosse, Wi. Mr. Goodfriend always like his steaks peppered with sauteed onions and Mrs. Goodfriend always had a way with her southern charm and smile. In my years working at the Freighthouse, the Goodfriends were my favorite customers. When the Goodfriends left Hixton, Wisconsin and to Illinois, Teresa said " You can't get rid of us, we'll be in contact". But, we never heard

Mr. Goodfriend always like his steaks peppered with sauteed onions and Mrs. Goodfriend always had a way with her southern charm and smile. In my years working at the Freighthouse, the Goodfriends were my favorite customers. When the Goodfriends left Hixton, Wisconsin and to Illinois, Teresa said " You can't get rid of us, we'll be in contact". But, we never heard from them again. Vicky and I live in Milwaukee now and thru the internet, I thought I could find a contact for Mr and Mrs Goodfriend. I am saddened to find that both Morton and Teresa have passed. Mr and Mrs Goodfriend always showed an overwhelming love for each other and for other people, a very special couple. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
