ROBINSON—The Reverend Frank A., Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of National Park, departed this life on June 9, 2009 and went home to be with the Lord. He was 69.

Legacy

A man of great kindness and humility, Pastor Robinson devoted his life to the service of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the people of his community and to his family. Frank was a graduate of Camden High, Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY, Union College, Barbourville, KY and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wynnewood, PA. Frank served in many United Methodist Churches in the State of New Jersey during his ministry. They include: Rancocas, Masonville, Leesburg, Dorchester, Verga, Colonial Manor, West Grove in Neptune, Almonesson, St. Luke's in Long Branch, Pemberton and his current service in National Park.

Family

He is the beloved husband of 45 years to Joan G. (nee Hartsell); devoted father of Kimberly Ann Robinson; sister of Arlene Ellis (Charles); dear uncle and cousin to many; shepherd and dear friend to a faithful church family, who will miss him dearly.

Farewell Service

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tues. 5-8 PM and Wed. 9-9:45 AM in the First United Methodist Church, 414 Asbury Ave., National Park, NJ 08063, where his funeral services will be held Wed. at 10 AM.
