THEDA REIFF MINTON, 92 of New Braunfels, TX. and formerly from Little Rock, AR passed away Dec. 29, 2011. She was born April 30, 1919 in Little Rock. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, sewing and being around her many friends. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Texas and a former member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock and First Baptist Church of Benton. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Minton, and her brother Merrill Jamison. She is survived by three sons and their wives, Melvin and Pat Minton of Benton, Dr. J.K. and Ruth Minton of New Braunfels, TX., and Terry and Kay Minton of Benton, AR and a daughter and her husband, Celeste and Jerry Don Whitlock of Benton, nine Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 5 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills on Highway 5 in Saline County from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, January 6 at Crystal Hill Baptist Church in Little Rock at 2 p.m. with Pastor Larry Ballard officiating. The Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Interment will follow at Crystal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in her memory to the Crystal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 18823 Crystal Valley Road, Little Rock, AR.
