Mrs. Thelma Louise (Hockenberry) Price, 68, of 687 Houser Road, Fayetteville, PA was pronounced dead at 11:35 A.M. Thursday, November 24, 2011 in her home. She was born on January 22, 1943 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Lee, Sr. and Thelma June (Moudy) Hockenberry. She lived her early life at Milton Wright Orphanage in Kauffman Station near Greencastle, PA. Mrs. Price attended the Brown's Mill School in Kauffman Station. She and her late husband, Mr. Gordon Irvin "Tony" Price were married on June 26, 1965 in Christ United Methodist Church in Waynesboro. Mr. Price died on April 30, 1998. Mrs. Price moved to the present residence in 1998. In her early life, she was a seamstress at Connie' Sportswear in Waynesboro. Mrs. Price attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waynesboro. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Charlotte I. Malcolm of Waynesboro, Doris L. Wolfe of Greencastle, Kenneth M. Hockenberry of Fayetteville, George L. Hockenberry, Jr. of Chambersburg, David M. Hockenberry of Waynesboro and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Madeline. Hockenberry. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro was in charge of the arrangements.
