Thelma Ruth Fryer (nee Kuhn) age 91, of Lakewood, born October 14, 1920; beloved wife of Walter H. Fryer, deceased, passed away on January 18, 2012 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Born in Fallentimber, PA, she was a graduate of Spangler High School and Cambria Rowe Business School in Johnstown, PA.

Thelma was a member of Ann Rutledge Chapter #453, a past Matron of Lincoln Chapter #309, and a past Worthy High Priestess of Lakewood White Shrine # 26. She was a dedicated member of numerous other fraternal organizations. Her favorite pastimes included Bingo, Scrabble and cards of any kind.

She is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie Jean (wife of James Barnicle) of Vermilion and Ruth Ann Fryer of Sheffield Lake. Granddaughters Kimberly K. Roberts of Avon and Deborah R. Luster (wife of Daniel Luster) of Lakewood. Great-grandchildren Christopher, Ryan and Lindsay Roberts and Alexander and Adam Luster. Her sister-in-laws Agnes Fryer, Betty Fryer, Lou Ann Ross (husband Charles) and Patricia Thompson; many nieces and nephews; her long time companion Lester Hough, with whom she shared many good times.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Harriet Kuhn, by her dear sisters Fedora Cavaner and Juanita Gamly; brothers Clarence, Charles and Clifford Kuhn (all deceased).

Memorial service will be at the funeral home on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 3:00pm. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME. 21369 CENTER RIDGE RD., FAIRVIEW PARK on Sunday from 1-3pm. Eastern Star services will be held at the conclusion of visitation. Burial will be private.
