Theodore E. Peterson, 92 Theodore E. Peterson, 92, husband of the late Sallie (Freeman) Peterson, of Rockport, died on Thursday morning at the Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Rockport on September 29, 1918, he was the son of the late Edward and Hilma (Koluukoski) Peterson. Ted was a graduate of Rockport High School. He had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Boatswain Mate, Second Class aboard the USS YMS and the USS Coates. For many years, Ted fished on his own boat out of Pigeon Cove and later worked for the Balzarini and Feldman Construction companies. He also worked for the Town of Rockport Department of Public Works until his retirement. Ted was a lifelong member of the Edward Peterson Post 98 Rockport American Legion. He is survived by his sister Helvi Olson of Rockport. At his request, there are no funeral services. Arrangements are by the Burgess & Mackey Funeral Home, 201 Main Street, Rockport.
