In Branford August 31, 2009, Theresa DePonte Sartini, wife of Albert A. Sartini of 624 Longfellow Drive, Branford. Mrs. Sartini was born in New Haven on July 9, 1929, daughter of the late Ralph and Carmelina Mele DePonte. She was retired from the Park Plaza Hotel in New Haven, where she had worked as a waitress for many years. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Alberta Sartini and Donna McGuire, both of Branford; brothers Frank DePonte of East Haven and Ralph DePonte of New Haven; grandsons Brandon Crosby, Keith Crosby, John Gray and Justin McGuire; great-grandsons Michael Crosby and Dylan McGuire. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tracy A. Gray, brother Dominic DePonte, and sisters Fay Santino, Rose Coppola and Annette Riccitelli. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her funeral will leave the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Branford Thursday morning at 8:15 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth Church at 9:00. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 – 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, 06405.
