Theresa Viola Armstrong

Theresa Viola Armstrong was born on June 1, 1926, in New York City, New York to Louis and Lucy Pickney. Theresa was a devoted wife for forty -seven years to Brady Armstrong, Jr. and a loving parent to Cheryle Edith and Ronald Rene. She leaves to cherish her memories; a daughter, a son, 13 grandchildren, 15 great -grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of relatives and friends.
Theresa Viola Armstrong was not only a mother, grandmother, and friend, she was an inspiration. Throughout these years she has always held the Armstrong family at our highest with her positive attitude and her strong beliefs. Theresa has demonstrated partnership through her marriage, commitment with loved ones and friends through hardships, and leadership by keeping this family together. Today is for cherishing memories of Theresa and acknowledging that she is in a better place. The tears that we shed today should signify sadness for her leaving, but also happiness for what she sacrificed for each of us.
