BOULAY, Therese R. (Rivard) Therese R. Boulay, 80, of South Windsor, wife of the late Jean Paul Boulay, died Tuesday (September 9, 2008) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Berlin, NH on October 2, 1927 daughter of the late Alex and Leontine (Belanger) Rivard she had lived in East Hartford, Vernon, retired to Fisherman Cove, Dade City, FL for 20 years before moving to South Windsor in 2007. Before retiring she was the secretary to the director for the Hartford YMCA Camp Woodstock. Therese attended St. Margaret Mary Church, South Windsor and she and her late husband volunteered for Dade City Hospital, FL. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves a son, Richard A. Boulay and his wife, Donna of South Windsor; a daughter, Patricia A. Pirie of Holiday, FL; five grandchildren, Stephen Boulay and his fiancée Kelly Tetro, Daniel Boulay and Erica Mello,Shawn, Monica and Michelle Lavertu and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant son, Jean Paul Boulay, Jr. and a sister, Dolores Duchesne. Her family will receive friends, Saturday from 5-7 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road South Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church at a date and time to be announced, with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, East Hartford.
