Thomas Albert Young, 89, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed on December 15, 2011. Tom was born in Marion, OH, the son of the late Erastus and Lois Young, and married Arlette M. Young (Toops) in 1945. He proudly served for three years in the South Pacific as a member of the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He is survived by three sons, Thomas A. Young of Pendleton, OR, Timothy G. Young of Elkhart, IN and Theodore N. Young of Virginia Beach, VA. He and Arlette were married for 65 years. Memorial gifts can be given to Compassion International at www.Compassion.com.
