GRAFTON: Thomas Eugene Winalski, 68, passed away at home unexpectedly on November 11, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Flynn) Winalski, his wife and best friend of 46 years. Tom was born January 24, 1943 in Wethersfield CT where he lived half his life. His youth was filled with fishing and hunting expeditions. In 1982 he moved his family to Grafton MA where he soon after bought a business, Environmental Air Specialties of Grafton which he successfully operated for the remainder of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking, camping, fishing and boating. When his children were young, he coached youth soccer for many years. Tom also served in the US Army Reserves from which he was honorably discharged. Along with his wife Maureen he is survived by his 4 children; Thomas (T.J.) and his wife Nancy of Charlton (MA), Stephen and his wife Patricia of Lowell (MA), Matthew of Somerville (MA) and Kristen of Grafton (MA); His 2 grandchildren Maxwell and Samuel, his brother, Conrad and his wife Eleanor of Berlin (CT), his sister, Beverly and her husband Louis of Vero Beach (FL), many nieces and nephews who adored and cherished their uncle. Tom was predeceased by his parents Leona (Olad) and Conrad J. Winalski of Hartford (CT) and his sister Judith of Milford (CT). His great sense of humor will be missed. Tom was a dedicated family man and a generous soul who was loved by all who knew him. The family asks that in lieu of flowers you remember Tom with donations to The Lupus Foundation New England, 40 Speen St. Suite 205, Framingham MA 01701-1898. Funeral & Calling Hours Calling hours are Tuesday November 15th from 4 to 7 pm at THE RONEY FUNERAL HOME 152 Worcester St. North Grafton MA 01536. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday November 16th at 10:30 am in St. Marys Catholic Church, 17 Waterville St. North Grafton MA 01536.
