Thomas George Gage, 71, of Cadillac passed away Monday June 11, 2012 at his home. He was born February 7, 1941, in Lake City, Michigan to Joseph and Elizabeth (Billitt) Gage. Thomas was married to Anna H. Gage January 29, 1971 in Vilserk, Germany . Thomas life was his wife and the Military. Thomas was liked by all who met him. He left a lasting impression with everone. Thomas served in the US Army during Vietnam and retired after 17 years as Master Sergeant . He was a member of the American Legion. Thomas is survived by his brother, Anthony (Betty) Gage of Tustin, MI, brother, Terry Gage of Cadillac, MI, sister, Judy Gage of Baldwin, MI and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Gage, mother, Elizabeth Gage, brother, Jerry Gage. Special thanks to Lindsey and Vivian Aspgren for their loving care during his final days. Special thanks to Mercy Homecare and Hospice for their gentleness and kindness Funeral services will be Saturday June 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm. at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Malcolm R. Brown. Interment will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac. Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2012 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
