Thomas J. Cooper, age 83, of Berea, husband of Carmel (McDonagh); father of Maria Reid (Robert), Geraldine Cooper, Virginia Cooper, Margaret Choong (Patrick), Tom (Karen), Gerry (Teresa), Jim (Patti), Steve (Kristen) and Angela Cooper (Gerald Beane); grandfather of 14; great grandfather of 2; brother of the late Mary Juell Anderson.
Thomas was born September 23, 1927 in Niles, OH. He grew up in Columbia Station, OH. Thomas was a marvelous husband and father, a great man. He met his wife in France while he was serving in the US Air Force during the Korean War. They were both visiting the town and shrine at Lourdes. He passed away on June 20, 2011.
Memorials may be forwarded to Aide To The Church In Need, 725 Leonard Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, June 25, at St. Mary's Church, 250 Kraft St., in Berea. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. www.buschfuneral.com 440-333-9774
