Thomas L. Colucci, 89, of Palm City, Florida died, January 28, 2012, at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay-Madeira House, Stuart.
Born in Denora, Pennsylvania, he had been a long time winter resident of Palm City coming from Trenton, Michigan. He was a graduate of the Ford Motor Trade School.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific.
Before retirement he was the owner/operator of the Trenton A&W and was managing partner of the Presidential Inn, Southgate, Michigan. He was a private pilot. He was a member of the Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club. He was of the Catholic Faith and former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Shirley Colucci of Palm City; daughters, Mary Ann Russell of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kathleen Hurst of Centennial, Colorado, Maureen Barber of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Theresa Atchison and Joette Green both of Boynton Beach, FL; a son, Peter Colucci of Delray Beach, FL; a step-son, Dennis Woods of Canton, Michigan and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step-son Thomas Misko and five siblings.
SERVICES: There will be a memorial service at a later date in Michigan.
