Thomas Reid, 70, of Hatboro, PA, died suddenly on January 27, 2013 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Margaret A. (Pinto) Reid for over 47 years. Thomas was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 20, 1942 to the late William R. and Catherine (Keller) Reid. He graduated from LaSalle University with a B.S. in Business Management. Thomas worked for Kulicke and Soffa for over 25 years and was recently working as a Government Contractor for United Terex for over 25 years. He was a member and former officer of ASM International, Liberty Bell Chapter. During his time with ASM, he was the chairperson of the Chapters Student Materials Camp for High School students who were interested in Engineering. Thomas was an avid golfer, loved sports and was a people person. Along with his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Pilar Reid of Upper Moreland Twp; a brother: William Reid of FL. He was predeceased by siblings: Paul and Catherine Reid. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue, Warrington, PA 18976. A viewing will be held from 9-10 AM at the Church. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to ASM Materials Education Foundation, 9639 Kinsman Road, Materials Park, OH 44073.
