Brinkley, Timothy Dee, age 50, slipped from our mortal grasp on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Loved ones that have gone before him include his father, Benny Reese Brinkley; his paternal grandparents, Hilton and Aline Brinkley; his maternal grandparents, Odie and Janie Johnson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim is survived by his mother, Lillian Marie Brinkley; his wife of thirty years, Patricia Ann Brinkley; his three beloved children, Lauren Brinkley-Rubinstein, Matthew Thomas Brinkley and Kattie Marie Brinkley; his son-in-law, Eric Rubinstein; his two beautiful grandsons, Xavier Cole Rubinstein and Jaxon Harvey Rice; his sister, Glenda Lynette Brinkley and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tim was born and raised in White House, Tennessee and was a graduate of White House High School. When Tim was 20 years old he joined the United States Air Force where traveled to Spangdahlem, Germany. After three years abroad, Tim moved his young family back to White House, Tn., where they have made their home ever since. Tim worked for Ford Glass Plant in Nashville for 17 years. Tim’s guiding principal in life centered around his philosophy that the greatest thing a father could do for his children was to love, honor, and respect their mother. Tim enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, tending to his small garden and tackling new adventures with his wife. Tim was a kind and generous soul that never turned away from those in need. Please keep his memory alive by extending a small act of kindness to someone less fortunate. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local United Way. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Monday and 10 am until 2 pm Tuesday at Cole and Garrett Funeral Home in White House. A memorial celebration will be held 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Bro. Cook officiating. Cole and Garrett Funeral Home, White House, 615-672-3936.
