Rees, Thomas M., died peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2011. Tom was born on February 17, 1936 in Council Grove, Kansas. He graduated high school in Cheyenne, Wyoming and graduated from Kansas State University. He worked most of his adult life in various positions in the radio industry. He lived in Manhattan until his retirement in 2001 at which time he moved to Wichita. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Andrikopolous of Cheyenne, WY; son, Brian Rees (Andrea) of Peine, Germany; daughter, Deanna Ptasznik (Butch) of Wichita; four grandchildren. Tom was a member of Hillside Christian Church. He enjoyed his family, his church and drinking coffee with his friends. Funeral Service: Wednesday, November 16, 2011, 2pm, at Lakeview Funeral Home.
