Tom Potts age 64 years of Bentonville, Ohio died Tuesday November 29, 2011 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center at the Adams County Regional Medical Center. Mr. Potts was born January 5, 1947 the son of Treva Lee (Wikoff) Potts and the late Jim Potts in Scioto County, Ohio. Mr. Potts was a retired teacher and administrator of the Ohio Valley Local School District and attended the West Union United Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother Treva Lee Potts of West Union, Ohio; two daughters; Jill Kennedy and husband John of Manchester, Ohio; Kathy Tolle and husband Aaron of West Union, Ohio; one son; Matt Potts of West Union, Ohio; four grandchildren; Brooke and Drew Kennedy, Colin and Marnie Tolle. Mr. Potts was preceded in death by his father Jim Potts and a brother Tim Potts. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 3, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the West Union United Methodist Church in West Union, Ohio under the direction of the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Dan Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 P.M. the day of the service at the church. The Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home is serving the family.
