Tom Stuart, 60, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Memorial Park Hospital in Hope, Arkansas.
He was born July 27, 1951 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Smead Powell and Marjorie Tom (Rosser) Stuart and was a lease broker and the owner of Tom Stuart Oil and Gas Leases. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Lambda Chi Fraternity and was an Eagle Scout. Tom was a great loving father and family man who truly enjoyed life.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shannon Stuart of Magnolia; son, Blake Stuart and Lacey Foster of Magnolia; daughter, Laura Welch and husband Ashley of Magnolia; brother, Smead Stuart, Jr. of Magnolia; sister, Martha Hoyle and husband Joe of Taylor; father-in-law, T.H. "Speedy" Bradley of Magnolia; sister and brother-in-law, Paula and T.E. Smith of Magnolia; and special friend, Linda Sue Davis of Magnolia.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26th at Lewis Chapel with Rev. Larry Kelso officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Magnolia Specialized Services or to the Magnolia Boys and Girls Club.
