Mrs. Trinidad Cardenas Gonzales

Trinidad C. Gonzales, 89, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011. Preceded in death by spouse; Luis and son; Juan Jose Gonzales. Trinidad was a loving and caring wife and mother. She is survived by her children, Jesus, Anita (Ernest), Louis, Jr. (Lydia), Rosa, George (Christina), Lupe, Lola (Raul), and Manuel; brother, Natividad Cardenas; 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. She worked for the Houston Chronicle for 23 years. She was a member of the Altar Society, Guadalupanas and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Name Catholic Church. She also assisted in many fund raising activities. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Crespo Funeral Home – Navigation Chapel, from 4-9 PM, with a Rosary being recited at 7 PM. A visitation will held from 9:30AM~10:00AM Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Holy Name Catholic Church 1920 Marion St. followed by The Funeral Mass, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
