Trudy E. Wittman, 60, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Born in Dekalb Co.,she worked for the dietary staff at The Towne House Retirement Center for 19 years. She loved her grandkids, laughing, being silly, animals, life and was always on time. She is survived by her husband, Willard Wittman of Fort Wayne; son, Michael (Jennifer) Carpenter of Fort Wayne; step-daughter, Anna Velasquez of Berne; brothers, Bud (Debbie) Stroh, and Greg Stroh both of Fremont; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Service will start promptly at 10 a.m. Monday at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling one hour prior, Rev. Douglas Vogel officiating. Calling also 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, IN. Memorials may be made to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.
