TWILA F. HOLYFIELD
Twila Faye Holyfield, 70, passed away in her daughter's home on July 12, 2012 following a short battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Ethel Williams, her sister Arleta Babbitt, brother Jack Williams, and beloved sons J.T. Masterson and David Len Callen. She is survived by her sister, Nayola Cooper, daughters; Pamela Dahlum, Sherri Tisdale (Michael Finney), Henrietta Mitchell (George) and Davena Jones (Levoins), and her sons; Howard Callen, Tim Callen (FaDonn) and David Bradshaw. One of Faye's greatest joys in life were her 25 grandchildren Rachael, Jared, Jessica, Laurel, Howard, Cody, Mia, Terrance, Shenia, Andre, Mariah, K.J., Anna, Kyshauna, L.J., Danesha, DeAndre, Trevon, Brittany, Damius, Abby, Darian, DeMarcus, Trinity, Deon, and great grandchildren Ka-Zha and Don-Asia. Born in Manhattan Kansas, Faye travelled to many places as a military wife including Junction City, KS; South Dakota, Texas, many years at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and Aransas Pass, TX. She spent most of her life caring for others in a variety of jobs. She was an avid reader, creative writer, sent countless letters and cards, she never missed a birthday or anniversary, loved to feed wildlife such as ducks and squirrels, and bake Christmas cookies with her grandchildren. Her family will hold a private memorial service on August 6, 2012. Contributions may be offered to St. Luke's Hospice.
