James Tyrone Cousins was born on September 13, 1951 a day now consumed in eternity to his loving parents in Henderson, NC. Tyrone"James" as affectionately called by his family relocated to Paterson, NJ at the age of 14 with his parents and Brother Alfred. James Cousins was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years. He was also a member of the Sunday School and could often be found at the Church during the week. Tyrone "James" attended the Paterson Public School system. His early education was at School # 13 and he graduated from School # 15 in the city of Paterson. He graduated from Eastside High School (The Mighty Ghosts) in 1970. James was a good student who went on to higher educational pursuits at William Paterson University, where he graduated in 1976. Like most of God's favorite people James experienced "Storms" in his life which cause him to learn to ride the ups and downs of this life but unlike some he always remained very positive that change was on the way. James was a smart, funny, friendly, charming man with a large good heart and he loved his family very dearly. He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Alfred, and sisters, Carolyn and Robin Cousins, his loving nephews and nieces, Steve, Tatiara, Sherries, Shamer, Philip and Isabella, along with a host of cousins, friends, and church family. Tyrone "James" will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. When speaking with his family in person or on the phone James would always use the phrase before ending the conversation with "Have a nice day", no matter what the topic of discussion was about. Everyone here loves you but God loves your best. Tyrone "HAVE A NICE DAY IN ETERNITY"
