Utha Ellen Rowland, 96, a lifelong resident of Hot Springs, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011. Born March 13, 1915 to Dona and Clint Breashears, she was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She was predeceased by her husband, Austin W. Rowland and son, Larry Rowland.

Survivors include her children, Melissa Shatswell of Oakdale, California, Alvin Rowland, Doyle Rowland, Frances Losey, Linda Trott Gothard, and Bruce Rowland, all of Hot Springs; brother, Truman Breashears of New Hampshire; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Morning Star Cemetery.
