V. Stuart Adams, 85, of 667 Windmill Drive, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010, at 1:47 p.m., in his home. Stuart was born on December 10, 1924, in Perrysville, Ohio, to Virgil and Elva Ruth (Abair) Adams. He served his country in the Navy in WWII. Stuart, and the former Pat Baker, were married in Plymouth, on April 27, 1974. Stuart was in partnership, with his brother Clifford, of Culligan Soft Water from 1951 to 1976. Stuart had been a member of the Moose Lodge, Toastmaster's, the V.F.W. #1162, and Plymouth Kilwinning Lodge #149. Stuart is survived by his wife, Pat Adams of Plymouth; his daughters, Toni (David) Parsons of Plymouth, Christine Adams of Kentucky, and Tracy (Mark) Goss of Surprise, Arizona; his son, Rick (Michelle) Adams of Plymouth; his brothers, Clifford (Martha) Adams of Plymouth, Robert Adams of Florida, and James Adams of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Emma Parsons, Tessa Parsons, Nick Goss, Taylor Goss, Brooke Conn, and Lucas Meyer-Adams. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gertrude.
