Vada Virgle Johnson, 86, of Virginia Beach, VA, died November 13, 2010. She was born in Lebanon, VA, and was the widow of Thomas William Johnson. Vada was a self-employed realtor. She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church and past Sunday school director. Vada is survived by two sons, Gary W. Johnson and wife Brenda of Virginia Beach, VA and David L. Johnson of Lynchburg, VA; two grandchildren, Lynn Johnson and Shaun Johnson, both of Virginia Beach, VA; a great granddaughter, Ava Lynn Johnson of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Juanita Kirpatis and husband Bill of Virginia Beach, VA; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel by Chaplain Roger A. Gauthier, Jr. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
