Vanise L. Jacquay, 86, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Born in Fort Wayne, Vanise worked as a graphic artist with the Homebuilders Association for 33 years, retiring in 1981. She enjoyed art, drawing for the Parade of Homes, and drives through the countryside. Surviving are her daughter, Janice (Mark) Meinzen of Churubusco, son, Aaron (Jamie) Jacquay of Fort Wayne, 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Vanise was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Jacquay, daughter, Rilla Horstman and sister, Bonnie Moberly. Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with Rev. Dr. Lane Burgland officiating, calling 1 hour prior. Calling also 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
