Vera Pauline Bishop

Vera Pauline was born in Arbyrd, Mo. and grew up in Jonesboro, Ar. She married John H. Parton in 1945. After her subsequent marriage to David H. Bishop in 1948, they moved to Reedley, CA. In 1958, they moved their family to Fresno, CA, where she lived out her life among her family and friends. Pauline was very loved by her large family and circle of friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Lloyd Raney, her mother, Letha Mae (Robinson) Raney, her husband, David H. Bishop, and her granddaughter, Heather Arlene Bishop.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Alexander and husband, Bill, son Jack Parton and wife Patti, daughter, Marti Carr, and husband Jim, son Ron Bishop, son Lloyd Bishop and wife Zelda, son Dan Bishop, son Roy Bishop and wife Debbie. She has 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
