Vern was born on October 29, 1939 and passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012.
Vern was a resident of Big Rapids, Michigan at the time of his passing.
Vern was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1965.
He is survived by his wife Marcia.
A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Big Rapids First Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce Peterson officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
