Verna (Bixler) McLain, 87, of Ft. Wayne, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. Born in Louisville, KY, Verna had been a high school teacher in Campbellsville, KY and a medical transcriptionist. She was a member of Waynedale Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harry McLain. Verna was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Dora (Humphrey) Bixler; son, Alan McLain in 1977; 2 brothers & 3 sisters. Memorials to Waynedale Church of Christ or Turnstone Center.
