Verna Lorraine Bramlett, age 88 of Little Rock, Arkansas died Sunday, November 6, 2011. She was born on August 24, 1923 in Metropolis, Illinois to her late parents Greene Stout and Fannie Littlemeyer. Verna was a member of VFW Post #9095 where she was a faithful member of the Ladies Auxiliary and was involved in numerous charities. In addition, she enjoyed cooking, sewing and was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Little Rock.

Survivors include her two daughters, Starr Dickinson and Mary Paige Trent both of Little Rock, Arkansas; six brothers and sisters, Glendall Stout, Mary Griffey, Fran McCoy, Pat Seagraves and Betty Davis all of Metropolis, IL and Sue Amos of Florida; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one great-granddaughter Terri Grace Dickinson.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas (501) 661-9111 with Chaplain Brad Vaden officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the funeral home.
