Verna Ruth Dudley, age 89, of Manila, died Monday at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Manila, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Lena Dorsey Decker. She was a life long Manila resident and a member of First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Wade Dudley and Glenn Ray Dudley.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday at Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Ferrel Duffel officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening from 6 until 8Pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Rick Bandy, Aaron Masters, Donald Masters, Jim Mills, Mike Haynes and Steve Haigwood.
