Victoria was born on June 5, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois into the loving arms of her mother, Mae Jongsma. She was raised in Chicago by her mother and stepfather Arthur Jongsma and moved to Arizona as a teenager. She worked for the State of Arizona for a short time, but most importantly dedicated her life to raising her daughter and staying strong in her Christian faith.
Victoria is survived by her daughter Nicole Thompson, brothers and sisters Yolanda St. Germaine, Harold Jackson, Angeline Beaulieu, Marcia Medina, Edward Thompson, Cathy Shuttleworth as well as 11 nieces and nephews.

One of her favorite verses from the bible was the 23rd Psalm:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

She will be forever missed, but we look forward to the day we will see her again in Heaven.
