Viola M. Keck, age 86, of 1417 Lake Avenue, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away at 6:05 p.m., Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Miller's Merry Manor, in Plymouth. Viola was born on January 27, 1925, in Plymouth, to Barnard and Viola (Nickerson) Scheetz. Viola had been a resident of Marshall County her entire life. She enjoyed morning coffee with her friends at Martin's Super Market, liked to travel, and was a Huge Cubs Fan. Viola married Ernest Pike on April 26, 1958. He passed away on March 7, 1968. She later married John W. Keck on July 1, 1973. He passed away on September 21, 1995. Viola is survived by her son, Tim (Tami) Pike of Grovertown, Indiana; her daughters, Cindy Washburn of Plymouth and Patricia Ann Mitchell of Georgia; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, David (Guinevere) Scheetz of Plymouth. Viola was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Pike and John W. Keck; her sisters, Mildred Gilbert and Josephine Sass; a granddaughter; and two great-grandsons. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
