Viola Schuhmacher, 98, of Cottonwood, passed away on January 22, 2012. She was born on January 18, 1914 in New Haven, Missouri. She moved to Arizona shortly before her 90th birthday. Her greatest past-time was playing a good game of bridge. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will always be remembered for her outstanding cooking. Viola is preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by a son, John (Mary) Schuhmacher of Washington, MO; a daughter Joan (Dr. James) Dwyer of Flagstaff, AZ; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A private memorial will be held for the family with burial in Missouri.
