Violet Emeline Rose Lazenby Middleton, aged 94, passed away September 6, 2011. This wonderful woman was born April 9, 1917 in Tabiona Duchesne County, Utah and lived a full and wonderful life. She was one of five children, one brother and three sisters, who all preceded her in death.
She married Walter Lazenby on January 28, 1937 at the Salt Lake City Court House, and they were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Their home was blessed with six children; Edwin (Janice) Lazenby, Ed has preceeded her in death. Betty (Andy) Podlesny, Ella (Alfred) Ross, Blaine Lazenby, Joy Bench, and Laura Lazenby. She lost her beloved Walter very suddenly on May 25, 1963 from a massive heart attack.
On October 13, 1966 she married Clarence Middleton who had two sons Jerry deceased (Judy) Middleton and Barton (Teri) Middleton who became just like two of her own. Clarence passed away in 1983.
Violet always had an enormous love and caring for her family. She enjoyed her 33 grand-children and 73 great-grand-children and especially her 33 great-great-grand-children all totaling 139 and counting.
Viewing will be held at the Walker Mortuary 587 S 100 W, Payson on Sunday September 11, 2011 from 6-8pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Payson 18th Ward at 482 W 1400 S at 11am and a viewing prior to service from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
We express a grateful " Thank You " to the many friends nurses and to her sweet and caring CNA's at the Beehive Home in Salem. Internment will be at the Payson County.
